Thankfully, most of the things in my trash are there simply because they are all used up – same this month. Actually there was only one thing I threw out that was not empty (and now it never will be). Here is my November Beauty Trash.
Ritual of Banyu Shower Foam
I (still!) love Rituals Shower stuff. I just love the smell of them! This Shower Foam was last summer’s limited edition and the scent is just so cool and fresh. From what I’ve heard the opinions on this scent differ, but I loved it! I actually think it is a shame that this is a limited edition, because I would have gladly bought it again.
Rituals Makeup Remover
Another Rituals product emptied. This oil based makeup remover has made its way into my bathroom twice now, and I always loved it because it easily removes waterproof mascara, but since I have started blogging I found so many new and wonderful products! This remover will always be special to me, but I do think I will swap this one for Caudalie…
Elvive Shampoo & Conditioner
Shampoo is not a big thing in beauty boxes yet. Maybe it’s time for a hair box? Until that day comes I will just have to buy my shampoos – I’ll just get a different one every time! This little set from Elvive Full Fiber is empty, and I am not really sad about that. It promised more volume, but I can’t say I noticed much of a difference in my hair. Also, my hair quickly got greasy again the day after washing, so in order to keep my hair shiny and non-greasy I had to wash every day. Too bad, because it does smell really good. Next!
Eve Lom Mud Mask
This little tube was in the Limited Edition Eve Lom Box I got from Look Fantastic, and it’s the only non-full size product I emptied this month. I had a few breakouts on my face this month and thought I’d battle them with this. It was very cleansing, did not irritate and left my skin feeling clean and smooth. Lovely product!
Eve Lom White Brightening Cream
I am truly sorry to see this product go. This one also came from the Limited Edition Eve Lom Box, but is a full size product. It lasted me a good long time, but alas… a very rich and very pleasant cream to use, especially during winter. Amazingly suitable for all skin types and left my skin feeling hydrated and silky smooth.
Daily Concepts Charcoal Soap Sponge
This soapy sponge was in last autumn’s Bluxbox and I enjoyed using it all. The scent was very pleasant, refreshing and spa-like. I was a bit less happy with the dry skin after taking a shower, but if you are one of those people who enjoy a good body lotion this should not be a problem for you. The sponge lasted about two weekt, which makes it perfect to take with you on a vacation trip as well!
Essence Mattifying + Pore Minimizing Primer
I actually did not finish this one, but I am going to toss it out anyway. I don’t often use foundation and related products, and that is what this primer is meant for. It can be used on its own as well, but I found that it dried out my skin a bit too much, which did not feel so great. So I left it in the bathroom for a while in hopes I would pick it up again, but that did not happen. Too bad!
And that’s it for this months Beauty Trash! It’s not much (I think I bought more than I finished this month), but these are mostly products I actually used on a daily basis. And, barring the shampoo and the primer, I would happily buy them again!
